Intro: A Play on Words
So this is a television show that I'm working on. There's a fabulous (if poorly plotted) Shakespeare show known as Love's Labour's Lost, also known as the comedy where none of the main characters end up together. I've taken Love's Labour's Lost and started applying it to a modern setting, expanding the timeline from one week to 4 years (throughout high school), building upon the characters, and, thus, adding more detail to it's plot. It'll make sense once I start putting up episode ideas and character descriptions, but that's the general gist. I am also extending this world into other Shakespearean plays. This LLL au overlaps with a Romeo and Juliet movie script I'm working on (called High School Sweethearts), a Tempest web series (title under dispute), a Midsummer Nights Dream movie (A Night in Vegas), and at least three or four other show. Another plan is to possibly extend after the 4th season into a spin-off series giving a more cheerful ending to the series. But just thoughts.
