How I realized I had face blindness: Heath Ledger tragically died while "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" was still being recorded, so they recasted him and they made the change in appearance a part of the plot, which is a really good way to deal with a bad situation, but I was completely baffled "What do they mean he looks different?" I thought to myself while watching the movie. "Why does everyone act so weird when they see him again?" I was CONFUSED

Hot springs episode! / @prosopagn0sis

Fate was probably one of the last people he'd invite out to a spa, but he had two coupons offloaded onto him that were about to expire, and everybody else had been busy. He'd almost asked as a joke, content to just go by himself and waste the second coupon. This was a good reminder to never offer her a challenge if he wasn't prepared for her to go through with it.

The good thing about this was, for as annoying as she could be, purposefully so, it was almost endearing in a way. She came at it like an equal, not someone thinking they were better than him.

So they'd already checked in, gotten their fluffy white robes to get changed into, and a brief snack of some fruit and cheese, and now it was time for the hot springs.

Viktor disrobed, revealing the brace around his torso and the pins that went into his spine, holding it together and straight. Carefully and slowly he lowered himself into the water. It smelled like citrus and flowers.

"Ahh, this is nice," He practically sunk into the water like some kind of lake monster, only his head unsubmerged. "I'll admit this is my first time at a spa, I wasn't sure what to expect,"

the chaos seemed to have settled down somewhat, at least to a degree that his head no longer hurts and he can actually think without hearing said chaos echo throughout his head. wearing clothes that were obviously too big for him, the only exception being the pair of slippers he was given when he had arrived at nest, they were now dirty and soaked through but it was better than clopping around in boots that were too big and too heavy.

still he had to be careful where he stepped, there were a lot of broken stuff strewn everywhere on the streets. he doesn't need to get something sharp stuck in his feet, that would suck.

sitting down on top of a car ( one that wasn't on fire, there seems to be a decent amount of those around ), adrian watched various undead walk by, a lot of them ignoring him and acting as if he wasn't there. he didn't mind them, their thoughts didn't hurt him, it was more like soft humming compared to the aggressive noises that sometimes come from grownups.

brought out from his own inner thoughts, adrian turned his head to look in a direction where he sensed someone's presence at, immediately the 11 year old is on alert. from what he could tell, they're definitely a grown up but whether they're good or not is hard to tell at first. does he take the risk of calling out? would that put him or the stranger in jeopardy with the amount of the undead walking around?

Gaz gave a tired smile, one he tried to fully commit to, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

“Something like that,” he said dismissively. He didn’t like to admit it. Sleep was always the one thing he had no trouble with, falling asleep quickly and easily anywhere and sleeping peacefully. So when he started to struggle with it for whatever reason, it really got to him.

He’d hoped some fresh air might help, a view of the stars and the moon high in the sky. Clearly it wasn’t, it was getting pretty late at this point and he’d been out there for a while. Someone was bound to find him sooner or later, and it just so happened to be her.

“It’s late, surprised anyone else is even up.”
