Using Zapier to Automatically create a new company folder in your Google Drive based on a new Person added to ProsperWorks
There is no New Company trigger for ProsperWorks on Zapier, but you can still automatically create a new folder for a company in Google Drive by using the New Person ProsperWorks trigger, and the Find or Create Folder Google Drive action.
The New Person ProsperWorks trigger is pretty self-explanatory, and below are the settings I used for the Find or Create Folder Google Drive action.
One thing you probably should do to make sure this action works smoothly is set the Field Validation for the Company Field under People to Field cannot be empty.
There’s one other thing to keep in mind. If you already had a folder for a company and it doesn’t match the name of the Company in Prosper Works exactly, it will likely create a duplicate folder when you add a new Person to that company. I am sure I will be dealing with that quite a bit and will just copy the contents of the old folder into the new “zapped” folder so that this doesn’t keep happening.
I hope PieSync, EverContact and FullContact don’t start making duplicates somehow, but we shall see.
