Create a ProsperWorks lead from a newly added Hunter lead using Zapier

I was looking to follow up on an abandoned opportunity I had from about a half a year ago and found some first names that my contact had used in an email to us.  I knew that those two people were likely decision makers in the purchase but I didn’t have an email for them. 

I went to the company website and used the hunter chrome extension to find the emails and first and last names of those people.  Added them as leads in hunter, and because of the Zap I configured, they automatically were created as leads in ProsperWorks.  I think one of them was the president - so hopefully he is pissed that they didn’t buy product yet, and well tell them all to get back to me!

We shall see!

Using Zapier to Automatically create a new company folder in your Google Drive based on a new Person added to ProsperWorks

There is no New Company trigger for ProsperWorks on Zapier, but you can still automatically create a new folder for a company in Google Drive by using the New Person ProsperWorks trigger, and the Find or Create Folder Google Drive action.

The New Person ProsperWorks trigger is pretty self-explanatory, and below are the settings I used for the Find or Create Folder Google Drive action. 

One thing you probably should do to make sure this action works smoothly is set the Field Validation for the Company Field under People to Field cannot be empty.

There’s one other thing to keep in mind. If you already had a folder for a company and it doesn’t match the name of the Company in Prosper Works exactly, it will likely create a duplicate folder when you add a new Person to that company.  I am sure I will be dealing with that quite a bit and will just copy the contents of the old folder into the new “zapped” folder so that this doesn’t keep happening.  

I hope PieSync, EverContact and FullContact don’t start making duplicates somehow, but we shall see.

FullContact to update contacts

Apparently, FullContact automatically updates your contacts - pretty nice when coupled with PieSync and Prosper Works.   It added photos, LinkedIn accounts, and locations.  

It updates once a month in the free tier.  Works for me

Google Form to Prosper Works Using Zapier

Um...just that. 

This was mainly for the front office. if a potential customer calls up,  they fill out the google form, and all the required fields are forced so that nothing is missed. The lead gets passed to prosper works - where you can do all types of things with it like send to slack, automatically create a new task and assign to someone...but I will get back to that when I am configuring.

Couldnt get #tags to work though.  I tried a few things but kept getting errors. Unfortunate because I think that it could make some interesting reporting.  I will work on that later

Syncing ProsperWorks Contacts with Google Contacts using PieSync

Why not? $60 Dollars a year and all contacts on your phone (if you have google contacts configured) go to your ProsperWorks contacts, and vice versa. 

Keeps them all in sync as well.

Only the contacts with email will be synced, and something to keep in mind is that if you have personal contacts in your phone with emails - they will be added to prosperWorks.  I think you can ignore some contacts but that would be tedious.  I have a personal phone and a work phone so this doesn’t matter too much to me.

Could do a one-way auto add with a Zapier zap from Google Contacts to Google ProsperWorks.

You may be able to do something with IFTTT as well.  We will see.
