Updating my fic today, You Did Not Know Me, and cleaned up this sketch for this chapter. I don’t often get to include art, but this one was just begging to be made.

prompt: "shy kiss" for fenders?
A bit late, and this got a bit long, but I had ideas and I had a lovely time writing them. I hope you enjoy!

Twelve, thirteen, fourteen.
The elevator stopped on floor fifteen to let off one of its three passengers.
“Uh, how high are we going?” Anders asked, as the elevator doors slid shut and they began to climb again.
“Not much further,” Fenris said, putting a hand up to push back the loose hair that hung over the side of Anders’ face. His expression was clinical as he examined the bloody scrape on Anders’ temple.
“It’s fine,” Anders assured him, once again. He let Fenris hold his face without further protest, only pulling away reluctantly when Fenris’ warm fingers slipped away.
I came up with the missing cat meet cute with fenders in mind lol, so fenders for "I found your missing cat"! 😻
Sorry this took me a bit. This weekend was a bit of a rough one. I also turned this a bit on its head from what I’d originally intended to write. It’s a little sadder, but hopefully the sweet will make up for it?
Anders had been working a lot lately. He hadn’t really intended to be spending so much extra time at the clinic, but with this year’s flu outbreak being especially vicious, he couldn’t make himself leave. Not when people needed him there.
So when Justice insisted that he take a week—a week—off of work, he hardly knew what to do with himself. He got home, fed the cat, and passed out. He woke up after a blissfully long sleep and blinked in the half-light of the sunlight filtering through the blinds. He felt a momentary panic that he was supposed to be at work, but remembered that he was on break before he launched himself out of bed. Realizing that he could sleep in, Anders flopped back down, sighing as the tension in his shoulders released.
high school (or college) popular kid/nerd au for Fenris, with either of them being the nerd or the popular kid (I THINK it could work either way)!
Thank you so much for the prompt! I so badly want this to be a WHOLE fic, but I don't have the time right now, so I hope you enjoy this little piece I wrote for you! I love these two so much! It really could work either way, and I would so happily read both ways, because they are both so smart. I went with Fenris being the popular kid, because I can totally see Anders as the slightly awkward but rebellious nerd who kind of wants to be accepted, but he's also okay with being who he is.

Anders ran a hand through his hair. It had gotten long over the summer, and he’d decided not to cut it, despite knowing that some of his classmates might make fun of him, but they already did that. He liked his hair, so screw them. His first class was English, and he slipped in to take a seat near the front. Garrett Hawke was in his class, and gave him a smile before he went to take a seat next to Isabela. They had started dating at the end of last year, and it appeared they were still together. The classroom filled up. Anders knew almost everyone, but a few minutes before class a new guy showed up. Anders couldn’t help but stare for a minute. The newcomer was an elf with smooth olive skin and pale discolorations on his throat and arms which rather added to how gorgeous he was more than anything else. His hair was silver-grey and his eyes were a stunning green.
from question prompts: “How are you still alive?” (in a more jokey than angsty way) + Fenders (or one/both of them and friends)
I had so much fun coming up with a fun story for this one, I hope you like it! Thank you so much for the prompt, it was a little bit of a challenge and I really enjoyed it! 💛

“And then,” Anders drawled, swinging his beer bottle wide. He leaned a bit too far, and bumped shoulders with Fenris, who sat with his first glass of wine nearly drained in front of him. Fenris leaned back into Anders good-naturedly, propping up the slightly tipsy doctor.
“Then,” Anders continued. “I said to Fenris: ‘I don’t usually do in-home visits, but I’ll make an exception to give you a thorough checkup.’” He giggled. Merrill giggled in response.
“How are you still alive?” Isabela asked, leaning in and taking a long sip from her brightly colored cocktail.
“I very nearly punched Anders in the throat,” Fenris recalled, turning to Anders. “It was very unprofessional of you.”
"fake relationship au" for Anders/Fenris, if you're taking prompts?
After a long work day, this was such a lovely thing to work on! This might be a little bit light on the public display of the relationship being fake, so I can have another go if you want, but I did find great joy in writing this 💖
For the DADWC: Awkward Neighbor AU's- "you happen to be an amazing chef and every day there’s this amazing waft of good cooking coming from your place into mine," with the pairing of your choice!
I was trying to finish this last week, but apparently I passed out in the middle of it. But I wrapped it up today and I hope you enjoy! It’s a bit sappy and silly, but here it is nonetheless

Anders sat down, mug of afternoon coffee in hand, and glanced out the window. He could smell the lavender outside, and hear the birds. It was a beautiful afternoon, so peaceful. He sighed happily.
Beneath him, Anders heard a window open. He glanced at the clock. If that neighbor is cooking yet again, I swear…
Anders stared out the window, daring his neighbor to start cooking dinner for the fourth day in a row now.
Sure enough, before long, the most amazing smell came up from the lower apartment, assaulting Anders’ nearly empty stomach with empty promises of delicious food. He glared outside, and then glared at his own kitchen.
Whoever that was making food every day that smelled so good, Anders needed to have words with them. But he couldn’t have words empty-handed. He gulped down the rest of his coffee and strode with purpose into the kitchen. Anders was not good at cooking, and had ruined many a pot of “easy” pasta, but he could make some amazing cookies.

Summary: After leaving Kirkwall behind, Rose Hawke and Anders have been running, two mages finding their way together. They find a quiet place to make camp and take a couple days to rest and enjoy each other's company.
Excerpt
It was restful, sitting on the warm hillside, surrounded by the smell of warm earth and the sharp tangy smell of the grass. It was heady and intoxicating. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been so happy, and so peaceful. There were days when they both worried about where they should go and whether they had been recognized, as they hurried through muddy streets and pulled their hoods over their heads. Sometimes Rose forgot that places like this existed, where they could simply be. Whole and free and together .
She stretched out on the grass and gazed up at the sky, its breathy blue broken only by a few small clouds and the pale waning face of one of the moons. Rose took it all in, as though taking a deep breath of air, and rolled to curl up next to the man she'd left Kirkwall for. She had never regretted it. There was so much life out here that she never would have known if she’d stayed in Kirkwall, and tried to knit together the bleeding wounds of that crumbling city.
