Hello there! I am a fan of your Fic Recs, and you’ve recommended some great Merthur ones that I’ve enjoyed! I was wondering if you could help me find something a little specific that I’ve been searching for for a while and can’t seem to find. It was a Merlin fic, canon times. Arthur finds out about merlins magic and doesn’t take it well, I think he like ignores Merlin? And everyone notices Merlin has fallen out of favour with Arthur, and some knight or lord or something [1/2]
[2/2] And this person(s?) attack Merlin in the hallway. Merlins so upset thought that he goes to Arthur and helps him get ready for bed without saying anything and Arthur thinks his noises of pain are just home being dramatic. Then Arthur sees the bruises in the morning and goes all protective. I think is ends with Merthur? I remember so much and can’t find it! If you can find it I would be super great full but if not anything with good magic reveal angst/fluff would be so wonderful! Thank you

Thanks for providing me with so much information, though, that’s really helpful! Do you remember vaguely how long it was, or whether it was on AO3 or not, or when you read it?
