A Healing Ritual and a Healing Spell for Animals
The Healing Ritual
To be done early morning during sunrise.
Required items include the crystal agate.
Facing East, kneel or stand beside the ailing animal, holding the crystal in your open cupped hands.
Move the crystal to touch your heart and then touch the animal’s body, then back to your heart and to the animal again in a gentle continuous rhythm. Softly say: Heart to heart and soul to soul, beloved one, may you be whole. Restored to health by the morning light, may the love between us make all right.
Gently stroke the animal with your dominant hand, holding the crystal in the other hand until the animal relaxes. Continue quietly saying the spell words more and more softly, and slowly stroking the animal, until you feel at peace.
Charge the crystal by leaving it in soil under the sun during the day, and place it under or near the animal’s sleeping pace at night.
The Healing Spell
To be done when the animal is asleep.
Required items include a small lidded box, red rose petals, a model (ideally ceramic, but clay could also work) of the same species as the animal, raw cotton.
Line the bottom of the box with the rose petals, saying: Safe be your bed, here rest your head, sleep will restore you to life once more. Rest now and let Nature do her work.
Wrap the model animal in raw cotton, using three layers, and repeating the spell words five additional times (to be said a grand total of six times).
Place the model in the box and put on the lid, saying: Sleep tight, rest by day and heal by night, for all shall be mended and your pain will be ended. Sleep now and let Nature do her work, for you are safe and protected.
Put the box in a safe location, preferably surrounded either by earth or soft, natural clothing.
