I will reveal you a secret. A technique of ancient torment I use to punish unruly lab assistants/kobolds.
The technique of ancient torment:
Pipet one THOUSAND 0,5 ul samples!
Faith suitable only to most evil people.
>PROTEIN WIZARD eyes you suspiciously...
>PROTEIN WIZARD: "Aye, I have been subject to such torment before..."

>PROTEIN WIZARD expands their methodology to include PROKARYOTIC STOP CODONS
hello I love this blog!! have you considered translating the sequences in all three reading frames irrespective of start/stop codons in order to expand the chance you'll see something? I ask because I work with a lot of proteins/peptides that are cleavage products, so they don't contain those codons! admittedly though this may ruin the bit/make the ribosome thing less relevant... but I love peptides and I hope you see something soon!
>PROTEIN WIZARD is pondering...
>PROTEIN WIZARD: "My studies are hampered equally by the age of my tools and my affection for the old ways. The journey to understanding is as relevant to me as the destination. However, I enthusiastically support all quests for PEPTIDE KNOWLEDGE, and am proud to count several Python Druids and Rcerers among my esteemed colleagues."
