My middle child: (off from school and sipping on tea) So if eggs are protochickens, but don't taste like chicken, and chicken are grown up eggs that don't taste like egg, then we have to conclude that the chicken flavor....
My husband: (vaguely horrified and vastly amused) That the chicken flavor comes from the rooster! Chicken flavor is rooster jizz!
