The 25th Annual Conference of Amended Protocol II of the CCW will take place on 14 November 2023, in Room XIX of the Palais des Nations, in
Agenda Item 10 – Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)
The IED Coordinators will report on the work carried out on Improvised Explosive Devices in the framework of the Group of Experts and present the proposed mandate on IEDs for 2024.
As there are currently no subsidiary organs under Amended Protocol II, there should be no need for action under this agenda item.
The Estimated Costs of the 2024 Group of Experts of the High Contracting Parties to Amended Protocol II (CCW/AP.II/CONF.25/3) and the Estimated Costs of the 26th Conference of the High Contracting Parties to Amended Protocol II (CCW/AP.II/CONF.25/4) will be presented.
Any other matters may be considered by High Contracting Parties under this agenda item.
The final document of the 25th Annual Conference will be proposed for consideration and adoption by the High Contracting Parties.
