Minsung Tarot Reading
They were on my list for quite a while and I’ve been seeing a bunch of minsung clips from their concerts (?) or tour on my tiktok feed for some reason. So I decided to give it a try but I must say first of all, I’m not a stay. I’ve liked a couple skz songs but I really don’t know this group, I can only tell 5 members apart and one of them is Han. I did this reading mostly because I hear minsung a lot when it comes to “the kpop yaoi trinity” alongside woosan and haobin. And I’ve seen some crazy clips from them so I wanted to see what’s going on.
Because this reading may reach a fandom I’ve never interacted with let me put a few disclaimers:
*This tarot reading is for entertainment purposes only. If you find this ridiculous or stupid please keep scrolling. I don’t want any bs in my inbox.
*If the possibility of your idols being lgbtq+ bothers you don’t interact with this post.
*I’m not an experienced reader. I’ve only been doing tarot for 5 months now so there might be other meanings or interpretations of the cards I don’t catch. You’re free to add your own interpretations as long as it doesn’t discredit my own.
My deck is Tarot of the Divine
(Left side) How does Lee Minho view Han Jisung: 10 of Swords rev, 8 of Wands, 5 of Coins, 2 of Cups
He’s worried about him. 2 of cups already indicates there’s a strong emotional connection that is very communicative or at least that’s what he wishes it to be. Or that things are currently very fast-paced for Han and that may not be a good thing because it can lead to being overwhelmed. He sees that Han had recently been recovering from something painful and is currently in a period of loneliness. This later comes back after I asked for clarification on the 5 of coins. I don’t know if I’d say it’s emotional distance from Minho because Han’s cards don’t look like he’s retreating from Minho. If anything it might be the opposite but from Minho’s perspective, Han is trying to carry some things alone.
(Right side) How does Han Jisung view Lee Minho: 9 of Wands, Judgement, 6 of Cups, Page of Swords
A lot of admiration. 9 of wands and judgement here feels like he views Minho as stronger than him. That he perseveres through hardships and reached a breakthrough at the end of them. Han sees Minho as a place of comfort and healing. There’s a lot of familiarity and Minho is no different than a childhood friend. He views Minho as mentally sharp, a direct communicator and learner, who can be quite talkative. Idk how Minho is on-camera but this could be a part of him only Han or the members get to really see and he loves it.
What is the reality of this connection: King of Coins, 4 of Coins rev, the Devil, 8 of Swords
There is a running theme of control and material/monetary gain in this reading. But it’s more so the environment around them makes minsung feel trapped and chained rather than each other causing it. It surrounds this bond with toxicity so with the 6 of cups that comes up again later and the 8 of swords here, it’s as if they’re bound together because they only have each other. With the 8 of swords in my deck version, picture minsung holding onto one another inside the cave with swords surrounding them. This made me wonder if it’s about them being pushed heavily as a ship so I threw out the question.
Are there any romantic feelings involved: Justice rev, Knight of Wands, The Lovers, The Emperor, 5 of Coins, 9 of Cups
Gotta be honest with you I was not expecting the lovers card at all. I fucking gasped. 9 of cups too…oh. With Justice rev, this points to withholding the truth or intentional dishonesty. You’re living a lie. It’s a card that tends to come up about secret relationships. Knight of wands shows it’s very exciting and passionate and after getting the devil later I’ve reached the conclusion these two can be horny af. But the emperor proves there is stability and security in this bond. But the 5 of coins here again, there is this isolation from the relationship in that they feel cast out from everyone else. So there’s the need to cling even more to each other “in the cold”. It’s very interesting though I’m not sure how healthy it is.
Are minsung dating: The Hierophant, the Devil, Ace of Coins, Judgement
I had to ask this because having feelings for each other doesn’t indicate they’re a couple. I’ve learned that quite a bit from my matz readings. However the hierophant shuts that train of thought down, this is a committed relationship. Now I don’t know if this is a recent development or they’ve been a couple for years. I’m not familiar with the minsung timeline and what dates stays agree were key points for them. I am aware of the minsung car incident and whatever that was happening in that car is between the skz members that were there and God. It’s a magnetic bond but they should be careful not to fall into codependency. But this is a stable and practical relationship that both have realized can be lasting.
Does JYP entertainment support this relationship: 5 of Swords, 10 of Cups, King of Coins, 2 of Coins, Ace of Coins, 10 of Coins
They are here for the fucking check bruh. Look at all these coins cards and they’ll be back later. 5 of swords shows either there was initial conflict with minsung about their relationship or there still is conflict but it provides a steady, lucrative source of income for the company. They only care about its material success and have chosen to capitalize it through the content JYP pushes out. Initially I thought these cards were a lot better than I thought they’d be. I mean they appear better than any cards I’ve ever gotten for KQ. This company is not trying to hide them in a basement or separate them. However this is still control, it’s not disapproval but this is not authentic support. And I think it’s starting to effect Han a bit.
5 of coins clarification: Strength, the Wheel of Fortune, 8 of Wands rev, 6 of Cup, the Hermit
I asked who it was about through a yes or no question and it ended up being Han. He feels like he’s in a frustrating cycle, an unchanging situation that is testing his inner strength. The hermit expands on the 5 of coins theme, he feels alone and isolated. He’s in a state of deep introspection and with the 6 of cups here again after my first question of how he views Minho, my gut tells me he finds that solace in Minho. I don’t know stray kids like that as I’ve said, I don’t know his dynamics with the other members. I bet he’s friends with them all and hang out off work obviously. But Han might only really open himself up to Minho cuz it’s as if he believes he only has Minho. There’s some tunnel vision going on it’s fascinating but it’ll be good for him to open up about his struggles to his friends.
How do minsung feel about how their company treats their relationship: 10 of Coins rev, Death, Ace of Swords rev, King of Coins rev, 9 of Swords, 9 of Cups, 7 of Coins rev, 5 of Cups rev. Bottom of the deck: 6 of Coins
There’s so much monetary interest surrounding this relationship. And just to emphasize, my deck said they are actually dating. Honestly I didn’t think it would say that I was expecting a situationship type of deal. Lowkey JYP might be taking their money and playing contract games with them. These cards reek of financial insecurity and greed, minsung are frustrated because they want fairer treatment. They see this as an uneven transaction. Because the secrecy is effecting them; they can’t confirm or explicitly state anything because it could “jeopardize their careers” but their company is more than eager to profit off their relationship. While it’s not necessarily trying to come between minsung, it is still exploitive but that’s a whole separate rant about fanservice despite homophobia in the idol industry.
I’ve only seen a couple videos of minsung where they are saying crazy things but they don’t seem uncomfortable expressing their bond. I don’t think their company is forcing them to share or do things necessarily. But it’s hard to not feel used in a situation like this. With the death card, there has been or will be some change between minsung and their company. Maybe in how open they get to be but who knows I didn’t dig deeper. The 9 of cups ties back to how the other spreads have been, minsung cling tighter to each other because this is their main happiness and the best thing that came out of this toxic dumpster fire of a job.
