Slowly, slowly finishing this project.  Head, legs, and body done, now just finishing up the armor. 

I’m spinning my wheels on the armor a little since a lot of imperfections don’t show up until you prime so I’m stuck in an endless cycle of prime -> sand -> putty -> sand -> prime and repeat. :/

Last two pictures show the wiring in the neck.  Manage to hide it by cutting out the plastic ‘cables’ molded as the kit and replacing them with the actual wires.

Exam is done and now back to work on Panzer.  Updates should be more regular now since I’m not studying like crazy. I’d say about 75% of this kit is finished so have some legs and body.

It’s so tempting to snap together for a picture but I need to keep the parts separated until I can feed the hybrid cannon wires through. Dx

Goal is to have this guy done by the end of the month.  I’m so ready to move on to another project as this was a 7 month build from start to finish. >.>

I can ALMOST put together the back legs... >.>;; I was so excited yesterday when I thought I had flat coated ALL the back leg pieces... turns out I didn’t. Just have to paint them tomorrow. :/

But legs! and feet!  Swapped out the pale gold of the kit for something a little darker and richer.  Personally I think it looks better.  Also preshaded the white for a little bit of contrast.  Can’t wait to get this guy finished!  So close! :D

Been a while since I posted but Pokemon Sun happened and then the weather got too cold and rainy for painting.  But the ‘winter’ weather finally broke which means back to painting!

While it doesn’t look like much, I’m wrapping up the Prototype Panzer build.  Unfortunately I can’t assemble much until the guns are done because I will need to solder the wires into place and feed them through the body.

I swapped a German Grey in for the black and painted all of the blue parts to... other colors.  I HATE the baby blue parts on this kits with a passion. >:C  Also painted some (a lot) of the details.
