Despite nasty billboards and a campaign of intimidation, an unlikely group of parents has fought a far-right takeover in one California city.
Well funded rightwing extremist organizations disrupt school board meetings and push the bigoted, book-banning, racist, homophobic agenda promoted by the Republican party.
Bottom line is, if you support or vote for a Republican candidate who has not publicly denounced the lies, propaganda and hateful rhetoric of the party (which are very few) then you are voting for the deceit and division (funded by the top %) and helping them drag our country into authoritarian corruption and ruin.
