✨"Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm."✨ -Winston S. Churchill ------- I FAILED!! I made this video to enter the #ProudToServeChallenge hosted by @NavyFederal. To win $5,000 I had to make a video saying how proud I was of a service member. I was going to make a video talking about how my mom is a disabled army veteran or how my sister is an active duty sailor. I was over thinking everything. I spoke to my sister and she said just make a video of your family. So I did that and just as I was about to add the finishing touches to the video something in my gut said "read the fine print". I downloaded the 8 page document and began to read the terms and conditions. I was almost done, then I saw it, submissions can not include use or wearing of uniforms. My heart dropped. My entire video was in uniform. Right before the deadline I realized I had to start over. I frantically searched my hard drives for different footage. Anything, any video of my husband without his uniform on. I couldn't find any. Over the past few years he has been working so hard he practically lives in it. Anyways, I missed the contest deadline but I was able to create a dope video that I love. Moral of the story, step outside your comfort zone and try something new, you never know what you will create. ------- Honor ⚓️ Courage ⚓️ Commitment
