28. would it bother your muse if they had differing interests from their partner(s), or would they delight in it?

It wouldn’t bother her at all. The beautiful thing about human beings ( and other forms of life) is our diversity. One person is not similar to another, either due to culture, background, ethnicity, and this code falls in sync to the assortment of interests that slowly molds people like clay into the type of person they may become later in life. We’re all born with our own fingerprint, no one can ever duplicate your print, otherwise, what joy would life be if we were all copies of one another ? All with the same taste, style, flavor, personality, etc ? Niah can appreciate what makes others different. She likes what makes a soul unique. And that includes their own interests that might be much different than hers, and if she loves it enough, it will merge into her own list of interests. As long as it doesn’t cross too far over her moral code. But this is only another glimpse of her character that shows how much she enjoy taking the time to learn something new, learning all she can about a particular subject that piques her to full attention.

It shouldn’t come as no surprise that Niah is reluctant to approach anyone who may catch her attention where she looks on at a person with a romantic gaze. Niah prefers to pine from a distance, if she happens to entertain heartfelt feelings for them, but anxious thoughts, sentiments that leave her feet planted from approaching, leaves her incapable of being forward with anyone. This has much to do with fear of rejection and fear of being unwanted, a pattern that’s become common in her experiences with people from childhood to adolescence years. Nevertheless, she can drop hints of interest, but most of these cues are indirect as she instinctively develops a demure quality in the way she behaves around them. But she finds it attractive when the other approaches, sincere in their motives to develop a romantic relationship. BUT, if it’s been a prolonged period of time where nothing has been said from the other, she will say something if they have yet to approach her, only asking what their intentions are.

“If mom finds out that I’m out THIS late, on a school night..then I’ll have more than her infamous chancletasos to worry about Uncle A.” He spoke out as he followed his uncle, through the night. In his mind he probably expects this to be some kind of trick for his uncle to just exploit his powers for his own gain and his heart hopes this was just a regular outing, man to man. It wasn’t easy knowing that your uncle is The Prowler..like-wise it might not have been any easier on him knowing that Miles was basically following in his brother’s footsteps. 

In that regard, he could empathize with his uncle..but it still does not excuse his previous acts of crime, ugh maybe he was putting far too much thought into it..so he decided to simply ‘chill’ and see where the night goes. “Regardless, you know it’s still nice that we can kick it like this..but for future references…a little get-together with the sun still being up would be better.”
