Hello everyone~
It’s that time of year again (we’re still here and going strong), PRUCANWEEK!
This year the themes are centered around The Hero’s Journey
PROMPTS:
Day 1 (10/3): Ordinary | Orchid
Day 2 (10/4): Call to Adventure | Hydrangea
Day 3 (10/5): Crossing the Threshold | Calla Lily
Day 4 (10/6): The Ordeal | Gladiolus
Day 5 (10/7): Reward | Chrysanthemum
Day 6 (10/8): Resurrection | Daffodil
Day 7 (10/9): Return | Peony
While I have set the prompts up based off of a traditional outline for films/stories, you’re free to interpret the prompts in any way that you’d like! As an addition, I have added a flower/meaning along side that you can include or use for the prompt itself. I hope everyone has fun creating!
What is prucanweek?
For seven days in a row, content will be made centering around Prucan (Prussia/Canada) (each day with a theme of its own). Anyone and everyone is free to join and post all days, or just one if you can! Even just reblogging the works of others is a way to participate!!
Have fun making fan art, fanfiction, edits/graphics, anything you want!
When the time comes around track the tag #prucanweek. (that is the two words together, not separate) Add this hashtag on all posts that you make! (Make sure it’s within the first 5 tags so it will appear in the tag)
Additionally to including the hashtag, I would appreciate it if everyone can tag this blog (prucanweek) in the post! Such as > @prucanweek so that your posts will appear in my notifications ❤️
Below I’ve included some links that summarize The Hero’s Journey and the website I used for the flower meanings!
Thank you all! I look forward to another year~
