Hello everyone~

It’s that time of year again (we’re still here and going strong), PRUCANWEEK!

This year the themes are centered around The Hero’s Journey

PROMPTS:

Day 1 (10/3): Ordinary | Orchid

Day 2 (10/4): Call to Adventure | Hydrangea

Day 3 (10/5): Crossing the Threshold | Calla Lily

Day 4 (10/6): The Ordeal | Gladiolus

Day 5 (10/7): Reward | Chrysanthemum

Day 6 (10/8): Resurrection | Daffodil

Day 7 (10/9): Return | Peony

While I have set the prompts up based off of a traditional outline for films/stories, you’re free to interpret the prompts in any way that you’d like! As an addition, I have added a flower/meaning along side that you can include or use for the prompt itself. I hope everyone has fun creating!

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve been online I can’t believe how fast time is going

I wanted to start by saying how sorry I am about the troubles I had during last year’s prucanweek. Because I don’t often come online, I didn’t realize how much tumblr’s site had updated (and become impossible to use). I had trouble tracking tags on both mobile and desktop and I’m honestly not even sure I saw everyone’s posts. I know how hard all of you work so I am sorry I couldn’t properly share them.

Despite last year’s troubles, I do already have a vague idea of what I want to do for prompts this year around, and I hope with that there will be some interest. Though an official post won’t be made for a couple of weeks, I hope everyone interested will look forward to another year of creating~!

As just a heads up also for what I am thinking of doing, while since the beginning of prucanweek I have always made a note to have the #prucanweek placed in the first 5 tags, this year I am thinking it would be best to have that AND tag this account like → @prucanweek so that your posts show up in my notifications as well as the tagged searches.

What is prucanweek?

Please pick either of the side of the “card” to incorporate into your work!

Hi everyone! I’m really just typing as I go so please bear with me here.

I really hope each and everyone of you are doing well under the circumstances. So many things have happened in the past few months it’s been very difficult to reel in. Just personally, I know things have been very difficult but I’m taking each day as slowly as I can and it’s as much as I feel I can do while in my position. I don’t mean that entirely as a bad thing, because sometimes we just aren’t at our best and need to do at least what we’re capable of rather than completely fall apart from overexertion. 

And while things are difficult, little pick me ups can make the world of difference.

I’m posting this here rather than my main account @matthewbeilschmidts because as I looked at the calendar, I realized my usual schedule for prucanweek is coming up.

I was still very glad to run it last year, even if I was worried I didn’t give it all of the attention it deserved and failed to complete anything I wanted to post. So with that, I want to know if any one here (or that sees it because I will be reblogging it!) wants to have prucan week again this year.

If so, I will gladly take suggestions on prompts/themes and will organize dates. 

And I hope with the free time, I can give it more care than I did last time around.

Please let me know reply or message because then I can start thinking about setting things up. If not, I’ve enjoyed the run we had here and I hope you all have had fun participating by sharing work, creating yourself, and just loving the ship/show.

Hello everyone! I want to thank you all for being so patient with me (as usual). A few unexpected things came up in my personal and I couldn’t find myself the time to be online. 

Prompts will be up in a few minutes! I am just finishing the last minute typing.
