Felicity “Lissie” Merriman is a bright, spunky girl in Colonial Williamsburg, 1774. As the Revolutionary War dawns, she finds herself torn between loyalty and independence, both in the political climate and between her own family and friends. Being less feminine than is expected for girls of her time, she is swept up in adventure when she meets and befriends an abused horse, who she plans to find a way to set her free, and maybe find her own place in the world along the way.
Felicity was first released in 1991, the first doll to be added to the American Girl line after the initial launch.
