PS Diesbar was built in 1884. Today it is the last steamer of the Dresden fleet still fired by coal. It is globally unique, in that it is propelled by the world´s oldest operating marine steam engine, an oscillating marvel built by John Penn & Sons in Greenwich, England in 1841.
