Golf With Your Friends PS4 Review
What an Excellent time to be playing golf with your friends in the safety and comfort of you own home during these unprecedented times Well, in golf along with your friends, you'll do exactly that! it's almost impossible to travel to a true mini course, therefore pull of a chair and relax while I give the full rundown of what to expect from this epic indie game from Team 17.
THE STORY
In the name of all "sports" games, there's really not much of a story, and golf along with your friends is exactly that, you play golf with your friends. You can play locally or online, but to have a game where you can socialize and commemorate with others, you don't see a lot of nowadays.
GAMEPLAY
Golf with your friends is a mini golf simulator. For those of you unfamiliar with simulators or golf in general golf with your friends focuses more on the core aspects of any golf game so you don't have to worry about hitting the ball and loosing par because of the winds of change lol. Okay, so this game takes on the concept of mini-golf and provides the player with the foremost absurd levels that ever existed and offers the player customization options to make a more eerie game of mini-golf that defies physics.
Golf with your Friends has some crazy modes that make it more fun. there's the classic mode, which is the usual mini-golf, dunk mode, the ice-hockey player mode, the tip and explore, you'll shoot through the goals of the goalkeeper. Allows the flexibility to display. These different game mods and modes that you simply apply to them like ball jumping, gravity adjustment and ball shape / size create great laughs in regular sessions.
You can play along with your friends. Up to 12 people can play within the online and offline lobbies. Unfortunately, I could not try the 12 player lobby online, but the web games I played were plenty of fun and had no problems. For offline play, developers must go a particular way and every one players can only use one controller, so you've got to simply accept which controller you're using. it is a unique approach, but since it allows 12 players, it makes plenty of sense.
AUDIO
Music is extremely common in golf along with your friends. the easy sounds played are calm and make an honest atmosphere, but I favor it over the music itself. Sound effects are great in terms of the everyday sound of the mini-golf, but as far as I can tell, the sound effects at Candyland and Worms are quite interesting.
The game is extremely good. I personally think the art style could be a little too common in most courses, but when it involves games like this, I honestly don't expect much in terms of visuals. However, Worms after all is awesome! you'll say they pay more attention and a spotlight than other courses within the game, but it is sensible, because Worms is that the baby of Team 17 and that they must always do brand justice.
COST
Golf along with your friends will cost you £15.99 on the UK PlayStation thats a fairly good price for a game that provides dozens of valuable gameplay and unforgettable moments its definitely work the purchase if your up for a laugh or two with your pals.
There are loads of cosmetic unlocks to customize your ball like top hats and dinosaur skulls and different modes for different play styles therefore the value of this game comes down to an individual's taste.
