More Excited for my GB

Meeting inspiring couples suspend your impatience.

Sometimes you think about God’s best when you meet Christian couples.

What does he look like? What is his fave blend of coffee? Sports? Movie? Food? What moment will make him laugh or cry? Where is his fave place in the country? So many questions.

Funny thing is whenever these thoughts enter my mind, this verse is immediately whispered by my heart. “The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.The Daughter of Tyre will come with a gift, men of wealth will seek your favor.” (Psalms 45:11-12, NIV)

Then my questions are all answered. What does he look like? He is the son of the King who is my lord. What is his character? “You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever. Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand display awesome deeds. Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.” (Psalms 45:2-5) He is definitely victorious, bold, strong, humble and righteous! Most importantly, he is dependent to God for God blessed him forever.

The coffee, food, movie, and sports? That i wont know the answer yet which makes it worth waiting for. But what really encourages me more to patiently wait on God’s time, it’s this guarantee of who my God’s Best is. On top of this verses are the proof of their existence, men and women who waited on God.
