A lot of people think it’s ridiculous to like a character, especially when that character is absolutely miserable in the meta of a competitive game.

As a Bronze 2 who was still playing Cypher, when i watched the video about this guy’s mechanics i thought: God, he’s my new main. It was his looks, his kit, his personality. He’s just absurdly calm and poetic when you spend time playing him and listening to his monologues.

No other character has caught my attention like this in all this time, and maybe he’s the one who made my year a little less miserable. I’m proud of the 200 hours I’ve put into him because i was happy and i still am

I kept playing him even after the nerf. That nerf pushed me to improve my aim, my positioning, my decision-making (which, like everything else, still needs work), because I recognize his destructive potential in a match especially because of his confident monologues.

I plan to keep making more art projects about him, about Waylay and Veto and everyone around him, the other agents too, because they all have a place with me (except Neon/j).

aye shes done so uhh, say hello to my valorant oc: Maverick, or... Todoroki Asuka

Maverick was born in Tokyo. Her parents are doctors, and she is the younger sister of two brothers who followed their parents' peaceful path of saving lives. She dreamed of saving lives, but in a different way, inspired by her grandfather, who belonged to the Japanese Air Force. She went against the principles of her parents and brothers, who looked at her with some disdain, only supported by her uncle, who was a commander. Years later, she would be known as Akaoni (Red Demon) for her talent in complex, high-level operations and simulations, but she was dismissed for going against the orders of her superiors and even disobeying them (well, she made a point of punching and cursing one of her superiors). Dismissed, she was holed up in an apartment and occasionally drank at parties or raves. Commander Todoroki Togashi (her uncle), an acquaintance of Tejo, who needed to replace a pilot (the last one had died), recommended her but warned: "She's a rough gem, you'll have to polish her."
