Matty is so me cause i too would love to have seen julian's reaction to matty winning that fight against krigers 👀 i know everyone and their mama was gagged by matty's win lol

this is one where i can't help but to compare it to how callum reacted to boone's fight for obvious reasons lolol. like the respective #1 and #2 of their draft's reactions to their love interest getting into a fight could not be more different 😭 for callum, his reaction to boone's fight was, "wow look at my man's dedication to his teammates and to winning this game. that's hot." and julian's reaction was definitely more one of guilt/self loathing; "matty's hurt (again) and it's all my fault (again)"

every archiecallum interaction in that last oneshot is so treasured to me because

they bring too much baggage to the table to really get along. they hate each other but archie is also weirdly fixated and in denial about it and callum is starting to see archie as this sad, little, wet, pathetic muppet and unfortunately he has a tendency to find weird little creatures cute
