PSL-54

Romanian semi-auto rifle chambered in 7.62x54mmR. Has almost identical controls and breakdown procedure as an AK since it is basically an oversized AK. Unlike most AK’s however the PSL does have a bolt hold open feature but it tends to be very flimsy and prone to breaking off. Of the 3 PSL’s I’ve owned over the years, 2 didn’t even have the bolt hold open parts, the 3rd did but it was pretty close to falling out. (GRH)

PSL-54

Romanian rifle chambered in 7.62x54R. One of the few affordable semi-autos in that caliber, it is often referred to as the "Poorman's Dragunov". Having owned 4 of these rifles, I sold them off because not because they were terrible, but because they felt expendable, like a cheap baseball card to trade for another card. If I had an NDM-86 or Tigr, I would never trade or sell that off. (GRH)

PSL-54

The Romanian built sniper rifle in 7.62x54R. It still remains in service with the Romanian military but is also heavily used in Middle Eastern nations. Often called the "Poor man's Dragunov" due to some similarities to the more famous Russian rifle, the PSL is still a decent firearm worth owning.  (GRH)

Space-PSL

Dubbed that by the creator, holescreek, this heavy barreled PSL build has a large amount of custom machined parts making it barely recognizable to the original Romanian platform. The piston is purposely exposed for the build to experiment with the gas blowback and to free float the barrel according to the builder. Reported accuracy is 1.5" groups with Russian silver tip ammo at 100 yards while "pulling the trigger as fast I could the crosshairs on the dot." If you're wondering how much the rifle weighs, it tips the scales at 16 lbs. Very impressive rifle overall. Hell I'd buy one if he sold these builds. (GRH)
