The boast made a little laugh come from her. “And so optimistic.” She hummed back even though she knew that he was joking. Of course that was a good thing because there was very little way she would be able to move him on her own and she didn’t like to use magic for such menial tasks. It was a gift after all, not a tool to be used like a spatula. But considering her hand barely fit over his, there would be very little choice.
She glanced up at him she she felt the spell seal. “Hopefully that will help with some of the pain too. I hear its a tingly sensation.” She admitted as casually as if she’d given him some aspirin. Though honestly she doubted all of that was do to the magic. People, human or not, tensed when they didn’t feel safe and creatures that weren’t human, like Ulysses and herself, had not been safe in this world for a long time. That was why her mothers mothers mother had made this place, bound them all too it. Because as more and more humans spread, their kind was forced farther and farther away from the places they called home- farther from comfort and happiness. And when you had none of those things, it was hard to relax and heal. There was no peace when you were hunted and burned. No matter how Naive she was from being trapped here as care taker, she knew that.
Her head cocked to the side as she looked at him curiously. “What did you think?” She asked.
