Dancing had always been Taemin’s passion, for as long as he could move, he was also dancing. It was his entire life, so settling down was never in his agenda, but when he met his future wife, his mind changed. He was immediately taken by the girl, and eventually they labeled their relationship. Near the end of their college stint, she became became pregnant, and Kai, their son, was born. He did the right thing, proposed marriage and they were happy and married. He had a wife and a son he adored with his entire being, eventually adding a daughter into the mix as well. They were in London and Taemin was working at a studio and choreographing on the side for the West End. And he was happy.

Taemin didn’t know when exactly it happened, but things changed. His wife was more tired, despite sleeping more and she was losing weight and constantly ill. However, she was stubborn and it took Taemin weeks of pestering and telling her to think about the kids in order for her to go to the doctor’s. By then it was too late, the cancer had spread too fast and there wasn’t much the doctors could do other than make her last months comfortable. After she passed, Taemin moved himself and their children back to LA, to be closer to family, to give himself and the children a support system while they grieved the loss of their family member.
