Honestly, I’ve never thought to look into myself. I guess I’ve never felt the need to do so until now. When I think about it, I find that i just reflexively copy whatever mold has been assigned to me by the environment. Like a mannequin that can be anyone or anything. Of course there’s an underlying identity underneath all this, but I can’t seem to pinpoint which part of me is truly me. Maybe all of these identities I’ve assumed just builds up to the real me, or maybe not. I think a picture of a poseable figure is fitting for this analogy to reflect the idea of a fluid identity that shifts and changes to its environment.
