My box of Goodies
I never noticed before how similar this card is to my sun painting. I painted that many years before finding this deck but it's amusing to see how common the influence of the sun is to so many artists. The Psycards are meant to be read by intuition, but there are some consistent interpretations of the sun as a symbol across other decks, which immediately come to mind when I see this card. The sun exudes power, and energy. It's responsible for creating much of our world. It brings the bounty of the harvest, but also can also wither and dessicate with too much exposure. I think now is the time to receive the sun's warmth and energy, and be mindful in putting that energy to use. I can create a bountiful harvest if I apply my energy thoughtfully. 🌞

Today’s card - Peace. I asked my Psycards what I should do about an intimidating sewing project that I have only barely started, and have very limited time to complete. I think this, more than anything else, is the answer I needed.
I was expecting them to tell me “Get to work!” or to support my fears with a resounding “Never!” but this... this tells me I need to trust my abilities, be at peace with my instincts and let them guide me, and be not intimidated. I already know I need to get to work, and I needed a reminder that I should work with peace in my heart, because it will show through in my results.
New Series: The Psycards
Monday nights for the next forty weeks, I'm going to post a Psycard and its meanings.
The Psycards
Created by Nick Hobson, illustrated by Maggie Kneen, the Psycards are an Oracle deck, rather than a Tarot. The deck contains forty cards, drawn with multiple symbols. These symbols offer insights into the mind of the reader.

Psycards Addendum
Oh my fucking Hecate, I can scan these Psycards at work.
Psycards.
I only have some images of these cards. I am missing 14 Mother, 18 Destruction, 20 The Sun, and 39 The Cave. I could do with a better image for 023 The Tree.
I think I'm going to need to take photos of the physical deck I possess. The stock photo sites like Alamy have the Psycards images sewn up in a fucking death grip.
You know what I need? MORE decks of cards! That's what I'm missing! That's what will really pull my life together.
for refrence I collect card decks and own 10 decks of playing cards, 3 divination decks, plus some card games that have their own special decks but I don't really count those.
