April 14th: 2016
Leigh Ackerman’s Sentinel Program would be approved by the Unovan government to become a full operation, rather than a privatized system. Contrary to popular opinion Leigh was uneasy about this. Originally the program was more controlled by her directly and small group of technicians. But in order to make the system automated and controlled she built an A.I, which was code named RAMA to overlook the Sentinels.
May 17th: 2019
For three years the program worked without a hitch with at least a a couple hundred attacks from either mutant or misplaced pokemon were solved. However there began to be incidents of random sentinels attacking certain city pokemon. When Leigh searched the data logs for why, she found that those pokemon were considered “Not indigenous to the region”. After massive lawsuits, she was forced to resign as head of R&D at OPP.
July 3rd: 2022
Despite Leigh’s attempt to fix the problem with RAMA’s protocol, the attacks on pokemon increased, this time going after natural bound pokemon due to “unnatural or unusual genetics found in pokemon”. The current head of R&D had no idea what was causing this. There were even reports of humans being attacked by these Sentinels. After this OPP was eventually shut down and every employee was laid of and RAMA was shut down. However the attempt to shut RAMA down ended in horror when the then head of OPP, Pras, was incinerated by a nearby Sentinel due to “threatening its directive”. RAMA had begun to develop a flaw where it started to see anyone as a threat capable of “Ending its mission”. Eventually it went on its way to murder prominent OPP employees: Laramie the cameruptaur, Mercy the gourgeist and Kieron the mewtwo. Ironically David was able to survive via his immunity to being detected by their sensors. However his location after RAMA went full force was unknown.
September 19th: 2042
It has been twenty years since RAMA went rogue. At this point the population has been dwindled down to a mere thousand human and pokemon combined. Any organic being was considered a threat and had to be hunted down. The times are dark, bleak and filled with despair. The end of humanity and Pokemon kind was near.
However there were a network of survivors, led by a mysterious woman, emotionally and physically racked by the loss of several friends, and the resounding guilt of causing this very problem. Yet she tried to remain determined to destroy RAMA, even if those chances are near non-existent.
