6/365 - Grapefruit Consumption
The summer citric morning mists weave
The sunrise yarns into a tapestry,
Fragile to the touch of time, and ‘trieve
The gifted scents of tangy cleanse for me,
Aching, when my withered wants and hands,
Like shaken deities so delicate,
Peel the tatters of tectonic rind
To expose a microcosmic heart,
Basking all in light and silent kind
A universe within a verse, a part
Within a part.
