[ I've had that happen with one of my faves, though it was more reading the older books in my fave series and /oh god the classic romance cheese/ she gets better later in the series. ]

TO THIS DAY I am a self-admitted adorer of much trash books, but there’s a limit ... just certain dialogue lines ... certain repetition of things that I can’t handle anymore XD
