dark portals

Leanne squinted at the sky uncertainly; the sky had been unusually dark recently, and odd little shadows had been popping up all over the place. People had gone missing after coming across the odd shadows, and no one really felt safe anymore.

Things had been very tense, and the once friendly people had become wary. Something was coming, and she didn't know what. But she didn't like it, at all.

The sky darkened further and she made an unhappy noise as the currents of magic swirled with something dark and her uneasiness increased.

The sudden portal of... dark surprised her and Leanne yelped, stumbling back in surprise.
