🍏 : how stable is my muse’s physical health? do they go for regular or semi-regular checkups by a physician? do they have any diagnosed illnesses and / or take any medication? how often do they get sick?
We’re sensing a theme here! Peter does not take care of himself. Every day, every fight is another round of broken ribs and bruised knuckles and black eyes. He regularly works himself to the point of exhaustion and then keeps going with no regards for his limits. Lack of sleep or vitamins and a raging metabolism means he’d probably always be a little bit ill if not for his powers. As it is, he’s prone to more colds and flus than the average superhero, because eating well and getting sleep makes a difference, even if you have accelerated healing and superhuman physical condition! (Peter eat a vegetable challenge 2k25)
He also doesn’t regularly go to the doctor. This is partly due to money and his poor time management and priorities, partly because his genetically modified DNA baffles physicians--they’ve probably still got his old glasses prescription on file, and his radioactive blood would cause more problems than it solves (he is, in fact, just generally lightly radioactive, which is a fun party trick). He does heal quickly, and his body mostly just takes care of itself. If he had any regard for his own well-being, he’d probably be the picture of health all the time.
“ and what proof do those magazines have of this ridiculous story ? “ ( @psymond )
whoever had decided to put his name and information down into that matchmaking survey had a hell of a storm coming. valentine’s day was far from frank’s favorite day of the year, eyes scanning over the decorations that flooded the room with a faint grimace. talk about a bit of overkill whenever it came the the rose petals in trying to set a romantic setting. tempted as the man had been to completely avoid this and spend the night out on the streets hunting down unlucky bastards, ultimately he knew his match would likely be here. and, for everything he was, frank wasn’t about to stand someone up. even if he wasn’t all too interested.
“ya’ know, if you’d prefer calling this whole thing off, can’t say i’d really blame you for it.” beer in hand ( simple drink for a simple man ), attention shifted away from the decorations of the room and other guests milling about back to emma. “not usually my type of scene personally.”
