my brother had this spongebob game for ps/ps2 and I remember playing it A Lot. Also Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 on pc. I spent so much time on that as a kid oh man

god this one is really hard because it changes every so often. Pathologic 2, Dark Souls 3, and Bloodborne are all up there though

A: I'm not sure of how realistic this one is, but I kinda think after the dust settles down after diurnal he could become an artisan/merchant of sorts. I mean, he's clearly interested in gears, and clockwork, and he's playful and creative. Making toys, decoration, working with his hands... I think his new business could be especially popular with the kids of the town, which is one of the most important groups, economically-speaking, hahaha. Besides, children generally don't judge based on what jobs you held previously. As a bonus headcanon, I like to think he and Notkin end up developing a bit of big brother-lil brother dynamic, looking out for each other a bit, despite any previous animosity.

B:He plays several instruments. ...well, he's actually not very good with any of them, mostly he just enjoys making "music". If it gets into his hands, he'll find a way to play it, skills be damned. Maybe he's even decent at the bayan

C Hmm, this one ties-in well with the Stakh headcanons. You know how Stakh is so hard on Grief, repeatedly saying that it's his own fault that he got himself into the tight situation at the start of game?  So, uh... I don't think Isidor liked Grief much. I don't think he was mean to him at all(to his face at least), and I think he often had to patch him up and did it gladly, and Grief was cautious around him but liked the guy. I just think he may have used Grief as an example of "you don't want to be like that" with his kids growing up, someone who is irresponsible and keeps getting into trouble. I suppose Artemy didn't take it to heart(it's a dad thing,right?) but, Stakh...

D:When Andrey Stamatin showed up in town with his less-cool brother, Grief was very impressed. A kindred soul, he thought. Bad boy vibes off the charts. Really hot. Anyway,  shit happened, Andrey was not impressed with him and he got a bit of a broken heart and maybe also a broken bone or two. It's expressly forbidden to bring up Andrey inside his lair, with the risk of being kicked off the gang entirely.

First impression

My first impression was the hbomb video so it was just. Haha prickly prick man. Once I started playing p2 I didn’t have a lot of feelings for him one way or another, but he grew on me fast alsdjfdhg

Oh god I love this terrible little man. He’s the worst. Prickly Prick. I wanna smack him with a rolled up newspaper and then give him a cup of tea and tell him to take a nap. Bastard man that I love.

Favorite moment

Either day 11 or Diurnal day 12. The conversation you have with him at the shelter on day 11 just. Hurts Me. It’s obvious as soon as you walk in he’s finally snapped under the pressure and he’s just as desperate as you are. I love it. Love to suffer.

I also really love on day 12 when he calls you emshen, and asks if he’s saying it right. Like he’s lost everything but he’s Trying with Artemy. He doesn’t want to be enemies, no matter what happened the day before. Love to see it. Also that you can ask him to stay in town!! And, you know. “I can think, just not straight.”

Also the schoolhouse dream with him standing in the corner, that kills me every single time. Stupid idiot got his Latin confiscated by Lara.

I LOVE HIM........ fun crime man :) i think he’s really interesting and is fun to play around with, has a lot of stuff going on underneath the surface, cares a lot more than he pretends to......

Favorite moment

mmmmm the lil apple basket meeting is really cute.... king of dragging a chair all the way out in the steppe just to sit dramatically even though i think rubin is sitting on a log or something. he coulda just sat next to him but nah, he had to be dramatic!!!! also when you find him at aspity’s house, i just love his lil line of “cub?? the heck you doing here?”. local crime boss decides to say heck instead of swearing. very polite.

Idea for a story

hehehe big grief/rubin fic........ tbh i dont have much else for him because hes really difficult to write but someday i wanna write him and murky hanging out... i have this idea that he teaches her how to sew or something.... he’s just the fun gay uncle :)

i dunno?? what are the Popular opinions with grief, i havent seen much about him,,, i think he gets underestimated by the fandom a lot though and he’s a lot tougher than people tend to see him

grief/rubin :) i said the same pairing for rubin so i will elaborate here that i think when they were younger and rubin had long hair, grief would braid his hair and put flowers in it and claimed it was only because he was bored and had nothing else to do but,,, fellas is it gay

oooooooh hm.... grief headcanon...... as a kid he tended to have injuries A Lot so he was always being tended to by isidor..... has a lot of scars from dumb childhood injuries (and a few from recent gang-related events)
