Hey y’all! I’m at the @americanredcross in Santa Monica. We are getting trained in #americanredcrossdisasterrelief and it’s pretty intense. They just gave us a tour of the news room and it was like a movie set. Huge TV screens with news reports, weather, satellites, a radio room. So much donated food and supplies being hurried out of the building by dedicated volunteers. It’s buzzing with positive unified response to action and I’m glad to be here to help. Just saw #ptmugu up in flames now. This is my favorite place on earth. I have dreamed of living in #malibu since I was a kid watching #gidget. Truly devastating for those who have endured this horrific and traumatic nightmare. I’m just happy to be able to help.
