shiro/uryuu 1, 5, 31? :3!

1 - How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals? 

Shiro is a sprawler and Uryuu is Absolutely Not. So at the start of the night they tend to start off a bit separate -- Shiro cuddled against Uryuu’s back and Uryuu sleeping on his side. And they end up waking up with Uryuu on either his stomach or back and Shiro just.. octopus clinging all over him.

Hmm... daily rituals... Shiro doesn’t like getting up in the morning and neither does Uryuu, so the two of them really don’t get up on their own very easily. Ichigo ends up waking them up if they’re not in the field, and Shiro usually Protests via magic and Uryuu usually just buries himself further in the blankets. (Later on, Uryuu Also Protests via magic, once he gets accustomed to being Part of The Family)

Other than that, a lot of their daily life is dictated by routine -- Shiro has his duties to the kingdom and Uryuu has his duties to both the Knighthood and to being Shiro’s Personal Knight. But they always try to have lunch together, and they do as much training together as they can.

5 Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?

Shiro to Uryuu: “My little archer”, “my dragon”, “Ryuu”

Uryuu to Shiro: “My liege”, “love”

General injokes: “You shouldn’t do that / I should absolutely do that”, “Maybe this time you’ll remember the saddle / It worked out!”, “You’re pretty magical for someone with no magic / I try”

31 - Do they finish each other’s sentences? Pick up any phrases or habits from each other? Know when the other is hiding something?

Yes, absolutely! It takes a while for Uryuu to feel comfortable doing so, but he and Shiro do get really in sync with each other after a while. And they’re both really terrible at hiding things from each other even though they try -- especially Uryuu -- so yeah they can pretty easily tell.

Uryuu starts to loosen up a lot the longer he’s in a relationship with Shiro, losing his poise and emoting more when he’s around Shiro and the rest of the Kurosaki family. He even starts to slump a bit and put his boots up on tables when he’s feeling very comfortable, much to Zangetsu’s despair and Ichigo’s “Sigh... now there’s two of them...”

Shiro on the other hand picks up some of Uryuu’s small ticks, especially things like hand gestures.

Both of them start to stand a lot more like each other.
