I technically completed Nanowrimo with 115k words written in four weeks...but it was all for work.

I technically completed Nanowrimo with 115k words written in four weeks...but it was all for work.
At a bridal shower. Adulting is hard! Save me...
I did everything right. Spoke eloquently; wore these awesome boots (heeled), handed out business cards, donated a decent amount via PayPal, so the networking session organizer (a friend) knew it came from me. And one of panelists knew me from Twitter. All good. I brought my A game.
But it started to go on later than the time said, and I had a forty-minute drive home. So I sneaked out the back, walked down the stairs on my tiptoes, put on my jacket super quietly - and then fell down the one stair going outside, skinning my knee and slamming the door shut as I tried to save myself.
I am officially that one friend you can’t take anywhere.
At Starbucks and just happened to be wearing my VLD lions shirt. I hadn’t gotten any mentions at the gym in a bit, so I thought it was safe to wear. No one will notice.
Barista did, asked if it was for the new show, and then proceeded to tell me how much she loved the first season. Shiro and Hunk are her favorites, and she can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series.
When I winced, she asked, “That bad? Cringy?”
“Stop after the second season. It’s good mostly through there. After that, just don’t.”
“Oh, man! Really? I absolutely loved the first season!”
...we all did. We all did.
I just wanted to hug her.
Here's something amusing: I was looking for the black lion roaring as a reference about a week or two ago and just did a quick google image search, clicked on the first image that was closest to what I wanted and.... IT LEAD TO YOUR BLOG AND I CRACKED UP BECAUSE OF COURSE IT DID!!
Can I put that on my resume? I wanna put that as an achievement!
