when i first read gillian flynn's stuff back when i was a teen i thought the "women can do bad things" angle was antifeminist. then i became an adult and i was able to recognize how portraying women beyond being perfect angels who are perpetual victims while showing they can have agency on their own lives actually is feminist. now im in my mid twenties and i just think women that are kind of evil and do shitty things are hot
