welcome to a world of hurt --------- so puck is , actually , my softest of descendants muses . he ... he just needs some soft love you guys & maybe like knee pads to wear all the time .

the only son of pain . puck doesn’t know who his mother was & he’s learned not to ask about it .
his father dragged him along everywhere doing duties as a minion of hades . pain often used him as a way to keep from doing all the heavy lifting or danger invoking tasks of hades’ errands , making puck do them instead . puck , his clumsiness inherited down from his father , didn’t end well in these situations & a young boy would be later clutching some injured body part in tears while facing down a furious god of the underworld yelling over his mess up .
in the times between hades’ needs , things were hardly better .
puck learned not to let out any chuckle when his father had an accident befall him , as it usually ended with his father “ getting even ” with him .
however , pain hardly needed that excuse to smack about his son . he managed to find other reasons .
it’s just simple facts that puck came to terms with : you can’t have soft , gentle , or kind love from your father when he’s the literal embodiment of pain.
being invited to auradon , away from his world of misery & hurt , was a godsend !
he still flinches when touched , though , he’s not used to any sort of kind physical treatment .
even if he’s not being hit around anymore , he still manages to get himself hurt just fine on his own . he’s still unbelievably clumsy & accident prone .
with how much he manages to get himself hurt , it’s amazing he’s still alive .
almost always has a bruise or cuts on his cheeks , bandaids on his fingers & up his arms & legs . sometimes he’ll have something wrapped in gauge or an arm in a sling . black eyes are common . he’s literally constantly hurt somehow .
he’s kind , funny , & tries his best to help people he meets or at least befriend them but typically most learn he’s a safety hazard pretty quickly .
sometimes he can be a bit of a big liar from habit but other than that he’s lovely ! doing his best .
he’s very good at first aid ! something he picked up from years of bandaging himself up . he’s thinking of looking into being a nurse , ironically .
his nose is permanently crooked from how many times he’s broken it
he’s terrified of hades & his kids . he’ll do anything they say .
WANTED CONNECTIONS :
someone out here ! be his best friend & try to help him my god . or at least pick him up when he falls down
listen .. i need someone to just be unbelievably soft to him & to prove to him that not everything in the world is out to hurt him bc most of the time he’s convinced it is .
ABILITIES :
puck has bits of “magic” from his father .
he can teleport , though it usually ends badly for him if he tries .
he can shapeshift , an ability his father has , & can turn into animals & such .
he can , if he wanted to , induce extreme pain via one simple touch . he’s only used this twice , when being forced to . he hates using it .
