焼いて食べるキットカット ２分でプリン味に変身
Following my discovery of Bakable Pudding Kit Kats in my last post here's a small blurb about them from Asahi Online with a wee bit of vocab.
ネスレ日本は２４日、オーブントースターで加熱すると焼きプリンの風味が楽しめるチョコレート菓子「キットカット ミニ 焼いておいしい プリン味」を売り出す。２分～２分半程度の加熱でチョコレートに含まれる砂糖が固いあめ状になり、ウエハースと合わさってクッキーのような食感に変わるという。人気パティシエの高木康政さんのアイデアを商品化した。焼かずに食べることもできる。１３枚入りで、希望小売価格は税抜き５００円。
加熱（かねつ）add+heat = heating
風味（ふうみ）appearance+flavour = flavour
菓子（かし）pasty, confectionary (often said as お菓子）
売り出す（うりだす）sell+go out = go on sale
含まれる（ふくまれる）to be comprised of, included in
食感（しょっかん）food+feeling = food texture
I like to highlight words that are easy to break apart and learn like the ones above! Japanese is a series of building blocks that you can keep adding to! This article has a lot of compounds that might not come up every day but are easy enough to understand!
One of the last compounds in the article is a brilliant example:
希望小売価格（きぼうこうりかかく）recommended retail price
Ok you might never need that specific phrase, but we can get other useful words from it:
希望（きぼう）hope, wish, desire
小売（こうり）small+sell = retail (as opposed to wholesale, makes sense)
価格（かかく）price
