Prompts. 20. Do you ever think about it? Us? Married?
Never really wrote Darvey but here goes nothing…

After weeks of dealing with a “he said, she said” corporate divorce case, Harvey was able to sit back and relax with a glass of scotch, Ed Sheeran’s latest playing on vinyl.
“Never took you as a fan of his.” Donna said to him, walking in with a closed lip smile on her face.
“I thought you knew everything about me?” Harvey joked.
“There’s still some things that surprise me.” Donna rounded his desk and took a seat upon it, crossing her ankles, her hands gripping the edge of the desk. “Like you telling Mike that you wouldn’t marry anyone you worked with. The whole ‘keeping work at work and personal stuff at home’ talk was full of surprises for me.”
“You really think I would wanna spend the rest of my life with someone I also worked with?”
They stared at each other for some time before Harvey’s eyes grew with realization.
“Oh Donna. Come on! That’s not the same thing!”
“How is it not? Tell me Harvey! Do you ever think about it? Us? Married?”
Harvey gulped down the rest of his drink and sighed.
“I have.” He mumbled.
He took a chance to look up at Donna at that moment. Her eyes were sparkling and she had a smile on her face.
“Well, there’s another thing I didn’t know about you. Just the fact that you think about marriage, let alone marriage to me. My little Harvey is growing up!” He swatted her leg playfully.
“Have you ever thought about it?”
“Please! I have the engagement, wedding and honeymoon all planned out.”
“Of course you do.”
“If only someone would make a move and ask this girl out, then I could make those thoughts a reality.” Donna stood up and patted Harvey’s cheek.
Donna was reaching for the office door when Harvey called out.
“Do you have any plans tomorrow night?” Donna closed her eyes and internally squealed. She breathed out slowly and then turned to the man.
“Pick me up at 7?”
Neither of them could stop smiling that day.
