A is sharing a bed with B, who has a stomach bug. Therefore A is treated to a long night of retching, coughing and burping, way too close for comfort as B is using a bucket in bed instead of getting up

The bowl situation

Wanted to weigh in on this one mates. so my fam had a large bowl that was the popcorn/watermelon/cob corn/mixing bowl. But it sure as hell stayed right in the kitchen

then we had this old bologna-colored rectangular tub that lived in the med closet. It always had like Motrin and bandages in it. The pink tub was the puke bucket. Passed that sucker around to whoever needed it. If two or more were pukey, the most needy one got the bucket.
