To collect water from a pukyo, you must first introduce yourself to the water spirits by anothers' name while jumping over it. That is, to avoid retaliation if you were to disrespect them in any way by drawing from their waters. Ideally, you place your vessel underwater and allow it to fill on it's own. Leave your payment or votive offerings where the waters may carry them away.
