Pride Month Yuri Ships:
Day #11: Mel x Lynn (Pulse) - canon
The feels man, the feels! This manga can get quite emotional at times and really has a beautiful story underneath it all (when it’s not being racy...). Lynn is the perfect woman for Mel and finally helps bring down those walls she’s been building for years. Mel’s transformation is so heart warming and real. Obviously this was the entire point of the series, but I thought the author did a really nice job portraying it. It’s one of the few manga I’ve read that focuses on adults as the main characters, which was actually a nice change of pace and created a different romantic atmosphere.
Pulse by Ratana Satis ending
Mel: *kisses Lynn's neck*
Lynn: what was that
Mel: That's affection Lynn
Lynn: disgusting
Lynn:
Lynn: do it again
I noticed that Mel takes off one of her rings to propose to Lynn at the airport, and it made me so happy.
Like, obviously she doesn't have the real ring with her. So I was really confused until I realized she slipped one off before she went to meet Lynn. It's really simple, but such a nice touch and so thoughtful of Mel.
I can't remember the last time I loved a couple as much as this and I'm just...
I'm so sad because almost every yuri and shojo ai manga/manwha I love is either ending really soon or just ended. What am I supposed to do when they're all finished?
So I just read Pulse and I am about to die. That ending threw me for a fuckin loop.
