A peek at some of the art at Pulse NY 2013
May 3rd-6th: PULSE NEW YORK Art Fair 2012 Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W18th St., NYC Admission $15+ [INFO] Currently in its seventh edition, PULSE New York will host sixty national and international galleries, presenting exhibitions that span across all media, from works on paper, painting, and sculpture, to performance, installation, and video art.
I have to say, the schwag bags at the pulse preview kicked some serious ass this year. Someone* ACTUALLY thought about what one might need/want at the fair (short of a little water bottle, which would have been perfect) instead of getting oodles of junk I will just throw away later and loathe toting around with me all day in my absurdly high heels.
Useful things I just received:
-altoids
-Keils lip balm (score)
-a tongue scraper (sick but genius)
-pop chips (whatever)
-a tape measure/level (going in the purse for good)
-a semi-useful guide of what's going on where
all in a tote bag made of something that can support groceries next week when I've resorted back to jeans and sneakers.
Scha-wing.
