AusNet Services reverses decision to charge meter reading fee

Victorian electricity distributor, AusNet Services, has written a subsequent letter to customers who have retained a manually read meter.  It states that, ‘After much consideration, we have decided not to charge a fee for manually reading your meter’ (SSMA emphasis). Oblige American President To Engage Now

Introduced in the House of Representatives: negotiations aimed at ban of space based weapons. In this bill, the definition of a weapons system included:

"any other unacknowledged or as yet undeveloped means inflicting death or injury on, or damaging or destroying, a person (or the biological life, bodily health, mental health, or physical and economic well-being of a person)… through the use of land-based, sea-based, or space-based systems using radiation, electromagnetic, psychotronic, sonic, laser, or other energies directed at individual persons or targeted populations for the purpose of information war, mood management, or mind control of such persons or populations“. In 1998, the French National Bioethics Committee warned that  "neuroscience is being increasingly recognized as posing a potential threat to human rights“. In May 1999 the neuroscientists conference, sponsored by the UN, took place in Tokyo. Most countries ban use of such technologies. Use of technologies is covert, without knowledge or consent of targeted individuals.
