PirateBoyPizza, An Afterword

PirateBoyPizza. A name that inspires many a filmmaker to do their best, to create something that will stand against the sands of time and live on for centuries after they die. Or at least that's what they'll say anyway.

PirateBoyPizza started out as a joke made on Frosty's gm_atomic server while One Guy was driving around on a pizza bike as Jack Sparrow. And now, it's a 19 minute GMod improv short film with... 36 views on it as I'm writing this.

Did it come out perfectly? No, of course not, I wasn't able to get One Guy back to rerecord lines (which, by consequence, meant basically no lines could be redubbed and I had to make use of archive audio during the turbo boost bit) and there's plenty of stuff I wish I had the foresight to do before it's release date. (Also the captions, they were MEANT to be much more FANCY!)

But am I mad? No, of course not, it was a fun experience (for the most part) that gave me the ability to make something more out there than AMVs, clip compilations, and a FighterZ joke dub. And because of it, I got a friend making another GMod series and another GMod short(?) film on the way, which I'm really looking forward to making.

And I'm sure I'll eventually go back to remake the video, in some way, in some form... But for now, in the words of my pal, One Guy, it's...

i've been on tumblr for ONE [1] year today, apparently

hoo-ray i'm still working on my next video, so i'm taking another piece out of my archives and putting it up as a celebration i also want to put out at least one more (digital) art piece this month after i'm done with the video, so that'll be fun if i don't finish it before may ends, i'll just upload the unfinished piece on it's own and explain why i didn't finish it i'm gonna game now, see y'all later
