Homemade Pumpkin Scones with Vanilla Glaze
Hello! I don't post much but I was really feeling myself in the kitchen today and wanted to share the results. I'm newer to kitchen witchery but I love that you can do so much with only a few ingredients, AND it's delicious. It can also be done if you're still in the broom closet, as you can simply just say you're baking for fun. These aren't vegan, but the recipe can be easily modified to be. The main ingredients that make these magical are cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and of course, pumpkin. All I really did to invoke the properties of the ingredients was focus on my intent the entire time I was making them, and what I wanted to happen after they were eaten. I'd say the spell is charged during the baking process and activated when consumed.
For this particular recipe, I used cinnamon for protection and to draw in money, nutmeg for luck, vanilla for inner peace and healing, and pumpkin for prosperity. All in all, this recipe is a spell for feeling good and bringing fortune, both metaphorically and literally.
I would post the recipe I used but I'm one of those people who cooks with the "That Looks Abour Right" mentality. I'll make sure to measure everything out next time I make these so you can make them too!
Made some pumpkin scones tonight! I cannot wait to make all the pumpkin things this Autumn!

Post-Halloween baking: Pumpkin Scones with a spiced glaze
I was going to bake a pumpkin pie, but in the end I felt like doing something different today, so I made these scones.
I took the recipe from here,
https://damndelicious.net/2013/12/04/starbucks-pumpkin-scones-copycat-recipe/
With only a couple of changes: I made them round instead of triangular, and I omitted the white glaze because it was too much sugar.
Now for the hard part, waiting for the glaze to set so I can eat one or two... :D
