Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to heat it up. Put the melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree in a bowl. Combine well. Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and turmeric powder in a different bowl using a whisk. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, one at a time, making sure to mix in the milk between each addition. Don't mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. Grease the waffle iron with butter or cooking spray.
