Remember once you beat OoT you can see Mido and the rest of the Kokiri dancing and celebrating with the rest of the characters in Hyrule Field, proving that the Kokiri could go out of the forest, and the Deku Tree only prohibited to keep them safe. [Not 100% on the same topic that you were discussing but I wanted to mention this!]

AH YOURE RIGHT 😳 I dont know why I always forget about that! Aw man thats sweet. He was only trying to protect them i guess. But how long do you think they were there? I imagine the deku tree to be centuries old, supposedly immortal until intervened with. Would explain why the kokiri werent worried about their right to leave. Maybe he knew about the impending doom and held them there in the forest from their inception. I’m not saying he lied to them, but he convinced them to stay and they eventually grew to love their home...that or until evil was officially banished they couldnt leave without perishing yknow 😐 i dunno but its fun to theorize lol

What do you like better? LC or LS?

good question! but yeah, definately LS just because it's bigger and brighter + there's more of everything compared to LC (nature, beaches..). But i really love the gloomyness and coldness of LC too and i wouldnt mind going back there again if R* decides to recreate it someday.. and you?
