imagine you are a spy who each time you go on missions you become more paranoid of discovery and less trustful of your fellow soldiers, and the only person you trust is your commander. your commander notices your growing fears, and though he gives you your missions he always leaves a way out for you, he is kind and gentle with you, he believes in your courage and dedication and says so to you. and despite all of that you still don't back out, you still go on your missions, and never take the hand he is offering
