DOLMEN

Dolmen adalah meja yang terbuat dari batu untuk meletakkan saji-sajian untuk pemujaan pada roh nenek moyang. Di bawah dolmen dipakai untuk menaruh mayat. Agar mayat tidak dimakan oleh binatang buas, kaki -kai dari meja dolmen diperbanyak hingga mayat tertutup rapat. Ini menunjukan kalau pada masa itu, manusia yakin akan adanya suatu hubungan antara yang sudah meniggal dengan yang hidup. Mereka percaya kalau terjadi hubungan yang baik antara keduanya, akan menghasilkan keharmonisan dan keselaraan untuk kedua belah pihak.

PUNDEN BERUNDAK

Punden berundak merupakan struktur tata ruang bangunan yang berupa teras atau trap berganda. Struktur ini ditemukan pada situs kepurbakalaan di Indonesia. Struktur dasarnya ditemukan dari periode kebudayaan Megalit-Neolitikum, pra Hindu-Buddha. Persebarannya tercatat di kawasan Nusantara hingga Polinesia. Kata “punden” berasal dari bahasa Jawa, dan “pepunden” berarti “objek-objek pemujaan”. Dalam punden berundak, konsep dasarnya adalah para leluhur atau yang dipuja berada pada tempat-tempat tinggi. Punden berundak berfungsi untuk pemujaan/penghormatan atas leluhur.

DOLMEN
